Jonathan Karp, Ph.D., is the Vice President and Applied AI ML Lead at JPMorgan Chase, where they build model suites to inform critical business decisions using advanced machine learning techniques. They received a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Columbia University, where their research focused on numerical methods in Solid State Physics. Jonathan has also worked as a Quantitative Analyst Intern at Wells Fargo and participated in a research program at Columbia University in collaboration with the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Their academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Math from Yeshiva University, where they served as a Physics Tutor and Research Assistant.
