Alyssa Johnston, PhD, is currently the Director of Scientific Engagement in Global Medical Affairs at Johnson & Johnson, specializing in interventional oncology. With a strong background in immuno-oncology and targeted therapies, Alyssa has held various roles, including Senior Medical Science Liaison at AstraZeneca and NS Pharma, where they developed key relationships and led clinical initiatives. Previously, they served as an Editor at The Medium-The Science Collective and have extensive experience in mentoring and advocating for women in STEM. Alyssa's academic journey includes ongoing studies for a PhD in Translational Biology and Molecular Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, building on a foundation in Biotechnology from Kent State University.
