Steven Keane is currently the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Global Sustainable Infrastructure and Building Solutions North America at Johnson Controls, where they provide strategic legal support for HVAC and Controls operations. Since 2021, they have managed internal and external legal support for projects dedicated to creating net zero built environments and have overseen significant energy savings and decarbonization initiatives. Prior to this role, Keane held various legal positions at Johnson Controls, including Legal Director for Building Efficiency in Europe and Africa, and was a Shareholder at Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C., focusing on business litigation and construction law. Keane earned their J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and a B.A. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
