Mike McFarlane, PMP, is currently a Fire Alarm Project Manager at Johnson Controls, with a robust background in electrical, fire protection, and project management. Beginning their career as an apprentice electrician, Mike progressed through various leadership roles, including positions at Custom Electric Ltd., Suncor, and Convergint Technologies. With a strong focus on safety and a commitment to continuous learning, Mike has managed diverse projects and teams, particularly in fire protection and system compliance. They hold a Master’s degree in Electrician from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and have pursued further education in Fire Protection from the Canadian Fire Alarm Association.
