Jon Sievers is a Senior Corporate Counsel at John Deere, where they provide legal advice on intellectual property matters, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and patent prosecution. With over seven years in this role, Jon is a registered patent attorney, holding a J.D. from Drake University Law School and a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Iowa State University. Prior to their current position, they served as Patent and Corporate Counsel at Kinze Manufacturing and led a biogas project on their family farm that won the 2014 Agricultural Project of the Year from the American Biogas Council. Additionally, Jon is a co-founder and board secretary of New City Classical Academy in Bettendorf, Iowa.
