Bob Garrish is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Manufacturing Engineer at Joby Aviation since February 2021, Bob leads special projects addressing challenges at the intersection of design and manufacturing. Previously, Bob held the position of Director Of Mechanical Engineering at Shiseido, where leadership of a 10-month project resulted in the early completion of a multi-camera 3D scanner. As the Founder and CTO of Spring Loaded Technology, Bob directed the development of an innovative powered knee brace, overseeing product development and mentoring over 20 engineers. Bob also contributed as a consultant for TruLeaf and founded Saint Lutherie, a precision machining operation. With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University, Bob combines strong technical acumen with leadership capabilities.
