Michael Dettmar is currently the Head of Risk and Data at Jia, where they focus on risk management and data analytics. With 9 years of experience in the field, Michael previously worked as a Risk Analyst at Stripe Capital and held multiple roles at Tala, including Sr. Credit Manager and Sr. Credit Analyst. Michael also contributed as a Data Assistant at Sciences Po and worked as a Data Warehouse and Analytics Consultant at Fast Enterprises, LLC. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Statistics from the University of Virginia and have pursued continuing education in Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
