Ashley Van Name is the Director of Data Engineering at JetBlue Airways, where they oversee a team of over 20 engineers, manage code reviews, and architect data warehousing solutions. Previously, Ashley worked as a Senior Manager of Data Engineering and held positions at JetBlue as an Associate Developer and Analytics Engineer, where they developed interactive dashboards and maintained data pipelines. Ashley's earlier experience includes roles as a Software Associate for the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation and as a Research Assistant at Rutgers University, where they built tools for Earth System Modeling. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Environmental and Business Economics from Rutgers University.
