Patrick Bala is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and operations. Currently serving as the Director of IT Infrastructure Engineering & Operations at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since April 2020, Patrick manages a $10M operational budget while overseeing various IT infrastructure components, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and disaster recovery. Prior to this role, Patrick worked at Amgen from 2004 to 2020, where responsibilities included leading a cloud and automation team as a Senior Manager, as well as managing global strategy for mergers and acquisitions. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London.
