Jayaswal Neco Industries Limited (JNIL), the flagship company of the NECO group in India, is the largest producer of Iron and Steel Castings, Pipes and Fittings. Originally incorporated as a small scale Iron Foundry Unit at Nagpur in 1976, it has grown to be a pioneer in the Steel Production Industry.

Founded in 1976 by Shri Basant Lall Shaw Ji, Jayaswal Neco Industries Ltd. is a leader in the manufacturing of a comprehensive variety of iron & specialist steel. At the age of 16, Mr. Shaw dreamt of a self-reliant India in the steel industry, therefore he used his depth of knowledge in the industry to innovate and deliver world class-quality products by adopting the latest technologies from time to time. 

In no time, JNIL expanded to multiple businesses including NSSL Private Limited, Neco Heavy Engineering and Casting Limited and Neco Defence System Limited.

NECO established a 1,000,000 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant at Sitara Growth Centre, Raipur, in 1996, located on 1600 acres of land in the reputed Steel belt of the country. It is Number One in India for making Alloys Steel.
