Jelle Maes is a Superintendent Dredging/Civil at Jan De Nul Group, overseeing the Al Omairah project since 2024. Prior to this role, Jelle served as a Supervisor in Maintenance & Reliability at Chevron from 2022 to 2024, where they led a team, managed budgets, and implemented process improvements. Jelle also had experience as a Technical Superintendent in Vessel Maintenance with Jan De Nul Group from 2018 to 2022, ensuring the operational readiness of the offshore fleet. Jelle holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electromechanics and Maritime Techniques from KU Leuven, and an Academic Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics.
