Waylon Sodd, P.E. has over 20 years of experience in the mechanical engineering field, currently serving as the Buildings Principal & Manager of Projects at Jacobs since September 2006. In this role, Waylon oversees project execution for higher education, commercial, and state projects in Central Texas. Previous positions at Jacobs include MEP Discipline Director and Mechanical Engineering Director, where responsibilities involved managing design teams, project budgets, and ensuring design quality. Waylon's early career involved roles such as Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer, focusing on HVAC and plumbing design for various facilities, as well as supervisory positions at Engineering Air Balance Co., Inc. Waylon holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
