Ellie Whiteford currently serves as the VP Head of Communications at J.Crew Group, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this role, Ellie contributed to Madewell from April 2014 to January 2025, advancing through various positions including VP Brand Marketing & Communications, Senior Director, and Director of Brand Marketing & Communications. Ellie's career began at J.Crew in public relations, transitioning from Associate to Assistant in the department from July 2011 to March 2014. Previous experiences include internships at Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, and Time Inc., as well as a writing role with College Fashionista. Ellie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Dance from Connecticut College.
