Michele Chiumarulo possesses extensive expertise in VAT and indirect tax, with a career that began as an Avvocato praticante at Studio Legale De Rosa-Laforgia from April 2005 to October 2006. Subsequent roles include Consultant at Pavia e Ansaldo, Avvocato and VAT & Indirect Tax Consultant at Studio Tributario e Societario, and VAT Manager for Southern Europe at GE International Inc. Michele served as a Senior Associate in VAT & Indirect Taxes at Bird & Bird from November 2017 to November 2022. Currently, Michele is the Global Head of Indirect Taxes at Iveco Group since December 2022. Educational qualifications include a Laurea in Giurisprudenza from Università degli Studi di Bari, a Master in Tax Law from Il Sole 24 ORE Business School, and further specialization with a Master Degree in Tax Law from Studio Tributario e Societario Deloitte. Michele has been authorized to practice law since 2008.
