Alicia Higueruelo is a seasoned professional in computational drug design and structural biology, currently serving as Research Leader at Isomorphic Labs since January 2024. Previous roles include Director of Computational Drug Design and Director of Application Scientist at Exscientia, as well as Principal Scientist at Sosei Heptares. Alicia has also held leadership positions at Charles River Laboratories, where responsibilities included Group Leader and Team Leader for Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD). Earlier career experiences involve roles at The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre, the University of Cambridge, UCB Pharma, De Novo Pharmaceuticals, and GlaxoSmithKline. Alicia holds a PhD in Structural Biology and Drug Discovery from the University of Cambridge, a Master's in Computational Chemistry from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, and a Degree in Chemistry from Universitat de Barcelona.
