Petra van Roggen PhD is an experienced professional in the field of AgriTech, currently serving as the Global Business Development Manager at Intertek since September 2016. With a strong scientific background, Petra has transitioned into project management roles, previously holding positions as a Global Project Manager and Senior Specialist in Molecular Analysis at Intertek. Prior experience includes Lab Manager for Molecular Analysis and Technology at CropDesign, Quality Specialist at Plant Science Sweden, and Research Leader at Syngenta Seeds AB, where significant contributions were made to GM projects and quality management. Early career experience includes research positions at IACR Brooms Barn and the University of Leeds, focusing on sugar beet and photosynthesis. Academic qualifications consist of a Master’s degree in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding from Wageningen University & Research and a degree in Plant Breeding.
