Thomas Higgs serves as the Director of Development for Albuquerque Pride, Inc., focusing on education, advocacy, and outreach within diverse communities. Concurrently, Thomas holds roles as an HIV/HCV Test Counselor and a certified harm reduction specialist with the New Mexico Department of Health. As a Delegate for InterPride, Thomas participates in annual meetings and conferences aimed at enhancing leadership and organizational skills among Pride event organizers. Previously, Thomas contributed to reducing high school dropout rates as part of the Running Start for Careers initiative through AmeriCorps and served as President of CNM LGBTQ+, advocating for equality and awareness among CNM students and staff.
