Usman Afzal is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of diverse business experience, currently serving as the Sr. Director of P&C Shared Services & Technology at the International Rescue Committee and the Head of HR Operations & Global HRIS at Legend Biotech. Previously, they held significant roles including Head of HR Systems & Operations at Republic Services and Director of Global Business Process Lead at Zoetis Inc., where they led the implementation of HRIS/Workday. Usman also served as the Head of Global HRIS and People Operations at Takeda from 2019 to 2023. They obtained a Master of Business Administration in Global Management and Business Strategy from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Montana Tech.
