Aida Kaspar is currently the Chief of Mission at IOM - UN Migration, a position held since 2020. With 15 years of experience, Aida has specialized in programme management, human rights, and gender peacebuilding, particularly in post-conflict areas. Previously, Aida served as a Programme and Peacebuilding Officer with the United Nations from 2015 to 2020, and as Head of Protection Program Unit in Mali from 2014 to 2015. In addition to extensive work in research and gender-related initiatives, Aida has been involved in resource mobilization and regional programming as a Special Assistant to the Permanent Secretary for the G5 Sahel. Aida is also pursuing a Master’s degree in social and political sciences at Université de Lausanne.
