Carsten Schiefer served as a Senior Advisor in Quality Management, Finance, and Administration at Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung from 2017 to 2022, where responsibilities included auditing and consulting on financial matters. They were a Branch Administrator at Deutsche Bundesbank from 1993 to 1997 and held various roles there, including Internal Auditor from 1997 to 2000. Currently, Carsten is the Director of Administration, Finance, and Human Resources for the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance and has been the Owner of AQuD Wissenschaftsberatung since 2007, specializing in consulting for higher education institutions. Carsten holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Hochschule der Deutschen Bundesbank, a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London, and an M.A. in Art History from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
