Felix Lung

Senior Social Protection Specialist

Felix Lung is a seasoned professional in disaster risk finance and social protection, currently serving as a Senior Social Protection Specialist at The World Bank. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as an independent consultant, providing technical assistance to African governments on climate risk financing solutions. Prior to this, Felix held various significant roles, including Foreign Service Officer at the Federal Foreign Office in Germany and Deputy Director at PROJECT-E, where they developed a vocational training college for orphaned young women in Addis Ababa. Felix obtained their Master's Degree in Economics and International Development from The Johns Hopkins University and completed their First Judicial Exam in Law at Bucerius Law School.
