Matt McCoy is an experienced mill manager at Interfor, responsible for the efficient operation of the Baxley mill since March 2014. McCoy's role focuses on safety, productivity, quality, and cost management, while driving continuous improvement and overseeing all day-to-day operations of the facility. Previous roles include sawmill superintendent and quality control supervisor, where leadership in safety and production performance was emphasized. Prior to Interfor, McCoy held supervisory positions in production and operations at Claxton Poultry Farms and various terminal management roles at TXN Intermodal, Transport America, and Miller Transporters, Inc. Matt McCoy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Valdosta State University, completed in 2005.
