Avinash Persaud serves as the Special Advisor on Climate Change to the President of the Inter-American Development Bank and holds the position of Emeritus Professor at Gresham College. In addition, Avinash Persaud has been appointed as the Special Envoy to the Prime Minister of Barbados on Investment and Financial Services, and also chairs the Financial Services Commission in Barbados. Avinash Persaud is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Errol and Nita Barrow Educational Trust and has been designated by CARICOM Heads of Government as the Chair of the CARICOM Commission on the Economy.
