Christina Ferraro currently serves as the Manager of Scientific Applications Support at Integrated DNA Technologies since December 2022. Previously, Christina worked at Invitae from October 2020 to December 2022, holding positions as Technical Support Manager and Senior Field Application Scientist, focusing on training laboratories in next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation and data evaluation. Prior experience includes being a Field Application Scientist at both Invitae and ArcherDX, where expertise in somatic oncology kits was developed. Christina's scientific background includes a contract position as Scientist II at Merck, where contributions were made in protein engineering and directed evolution, and a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Southern California, culminating in a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology. Christina also possesses dual Bachelor's degrees in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology and Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
