Zarifah Zahri has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Zarifah began their career as a Summer Intern at PETRONAS in 2011, followed by a Summer Internship at Fitzroy Engineering Project Services in 2014. Zarifah then worked as a Part 4 Student at The University of Auckland, where they conducted research and gained experience in project management.
In 2015, they joined PETRONAS Digital Sdn Bhd, starting as a Project Engineer involved in the implementation and deployment of PI systems. Zarifah later took on the role of Lead Functional Business Analyst, where they played an instrumental role in launching the Refinery of the Future project and implementing agile and scrum principles. Zarifah also led user requirements gathering sessions, prepared documentation, and proposed process improvements.
From 2019 to 2020, Zarifah served as a Lead Data Analyst at PETRONAS Digital Sdn Bhd before transitioning to the role of Product Manager in 2020. In these roles, they contributed to the digital transformation of PETRONAS by overseeing various projects and leveraging their analytical skills.
Most recently, Zarifah joined Inspectorio in 2022 as a Product Owner.
Zarifah Zahri began their education journey in 2011 at University Kuala Lumpur (UNIKL-MICET), where they pursued a First Year Degree in Chemical Engineering. After completing their first year, they transferred to The University of Auckland, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering from 2012 to 2014.
In addition to their academic achievements, Zarifah Zahri has also obtained several certifications. In August 2018, they earned the AgilePM® Foundation certification from APMG International. Zarifah further enhanced their Agile project management skills by obtaining the AgilePM® Practitioner certification from the same institution.
Furthermore, in October 2019, Zarifah Zahri acquired the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. This certification demonstrates their expertise in Scrum and agile project management methodologies. Zarifah further expanded their knowledge in agile practices by obtaining the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org in July 2021.
Most recently, in November 2021, Zarifah Zahri achieved the Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC). This certification showcases their proficiency in quality management, statistical analysis, and process improvement methodologies.
