Alex Hoeksma is an experienced IT entrepreneur who is the founder, co-owner and managing director of InnSpire Software Engineering. They founded Luminis Rotterdam in 2011 and became a substantial shareholder of Luminis Nederland in 2016, selling all their shares to Luminis International in 2022. They are an active angel investor and advisor in multiple startups and scale-ups, including JEX, The Grid, World of WOW, Sofie, Chordify, Rotterzwam, Onboard, and others, and they are a Growth Mentor at nlgroeit. They hold a BSc from Fontys University of Applied Sciences (1983-1987).
