Rafael Pérez Belizón's work experience includes a position as a Neuromorphic Algorithms Engineer at Innatera starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Institute of Neuroinformatics, University of Zurich and ETH Zurich as a Neuromorphic Engineer from May 2021 to February 2022. In this role, they implemented the Resonator Network in neuromorphic hardware and employed the Fourier Holographic Reduced Representation as Vector Symbolic Architecture. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Software Engineer at the Technical University of Munich from March 2020 to July 2020. During this time, they were responsible for creating and modifying software for triphasic stimulation of auditory nerve fibres, as well as for analyzing the data. Rafael also completed an internship at the Instituto Cajal, CSIC from October 2018 to July 2019.
Rafael Pérez Belizón holds a Grado en IngenierÃa degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad CEU San Pablo, which they obtained from 2015 to 2019. Following this, from 2019 to 2022, they pursued an Elite Master of Science degree in Neuroengineering at the Technical University of Munich. In 2021 and 2022, they conducted their Master thesis in Neuromorphic Computing at ETH Zürich.
