Stormy Emery has five years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer for INK Games™️. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Software Engineer for SciPlay Corporation, where they supported legacy Gold Fish Casino Slots, worked on game features and systems using Unity, refactored core game systems, integrated 3rd party SDKs, and performed major Unity version upgrades. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Trainee for SPIRIT Global Energy Solutions, where they assembled and troubleshooted hardware problems with the Genesis Asset Manager in the shop and in the field. That same year, they also worked as a Web Developer for The Bankers Broker, Inc., developing a blogging site for the owner. In 2013, they were an IT-Intern for the City of Big Spring.

Stormy Emery obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin in 2016. In addition, they obtained a Certificate of Completion from the Department of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin in June 2016 for the Game and Mobile Media Applications Program.
