Mark Dennis is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and media law. Currently serving as General Counsel for Taylor & Francis since June 2014, Mark has held various leadership positions, including Head of Legal for both Taylor & Francis and the Taylor & Francis Group (EMEA & APAC). Additionally, Mark contributed as Chair of the Law Group at The Publishers Association from December 2020 to December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Associate and Associate at Taylor Wessing, where expertise was focused on advising media and technology companies on contentious and non-contentious legal matters. Mark's educational background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in IP Law from the University of Bristol, a GDL/LPC from the College of Law in London, and degrees in Archaeology and Medieval Archaeology from the University of Exeter and the University of York, respectively.
