Burcin Baytekin is currently the Lead Principal Electrical Design Engineer at Infineon Technologies, a role they have held since 2020. They previously worked as a Senior Principal at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation from 2016 to 2020, and as a Principal at Qualcomm after the acquisition of Atheros from 2011 to 2016. Their early career included positions as a Summer Intern in IC design at Maxim Integrated and as an RF/Analog IC designer at Sequoia Communications. Burcin earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, after completing a Bachelor of Science in the same field at the University of Southern California.
