Karen Newhard is the Director of TRIO Student Support Services and an Adjunct Faculty member at Indiana Wesleyan University, where they teach various courses in student development. Previously, they served as an Academic Advisor for Pre-Declared Students at Indiana Wesleyan and held leadership roles at Ivy Tech Community College and Tabor College, focusing on student life, leadership, and retention. Karen began their career as a Family Consultant at Lifeline Youth & Family Services and has a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from Grace College & Seminary. Currently, they are pursuing an M.S. in Organizational Leadership and Supervision at Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne.
