Scott Helgeson, PE, M.Engr, is currently the Assistant Director of the Sanitation Facilities Construction Program at the Indian Health Service. With a robust background spanning over 28 years as an officer in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service, Scott has held various leadership and engineering management roles, including Engineering Manager for the City of Frederick and Deputy Director of Business Operations for Commissioned Corps Headquarters. Scott previously managed health facility projects at the National Institutes of Health and functioned as Director of the Sanitation Facilities Construction Program in the Nashville area, enhancing public health through engineering initiatives. Scott holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Idaho and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine.
