Victor Caraballo is a transformational healthcare leader and physician executive currently serving as the Vice President of Quality Management and Chief Safety Officer at Independence Blue Cross since 2022. They lead health equity efforts and corporate pandemic management while overseeing quality improvement programs. Prior to this role, Victor was the Senior Medical Director at Independence Blue Cross from 2002 to 2019, where they spearheaded initiatives in quality management and population health. Victor earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Brown Medical School and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, complemented by their academic practice in emergency medicine at Penn Medicine.
