James Bulgin, PhD, is the Head of Public History at Imperial War Museums, a role they currently hold after serving as Brand Licensing Manager and Content Leader for Holocaust Galleries at the same institution. Between 2002 and 2014, they were a self-employed Commercial Theatre Producer. Most recently, they worked as a Television Presenter for the BBC program "How the Holocaust Began." James received their Doctor of Philosophy in Holocaust and Related Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London, where they also completed a Master's in Holocaust Studies and a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature.
