Mykhailo Khtema is an experienced EHS Manager currently working at Imerys since July 2019, with prior roles including EHS Analyst at TE Connectivity and OHSE Engineer at Electrolux. Mykhailo has a diverse background in health, workplace safety, fire protection, and environmental management, along with experience as a Technical and Scientific Consultant in pipeline systems and in various leadership positions within the Ministry of Emergencies Department in Ivano-Frankivsk, overseeing technological safety and civil protection. Mykhailo began a career in academia as a lecturer at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas and has held significant operational roles in fuel storage management. Mykhailo holds an engineer's degree in Oil and Gas pipelines and storages from the same university, along with foundational education in foreign languages from secondary school in Chernihiv, Ukraine.
