Emma Porter is an experienced marketing and partnerships professional with a diverse background in various industries. Currently serving as the General Manager of Marketing, Media and Corporate Affairs at Illawarra Hawks Basketball since December 2023, Emma also holds the position of Head of Partnerships, Media & Marketing at Surfing NSW, a role extended from previous positions as Partnerships Manager and Partnerships Coordinator. Emma's career began in retail, working as a Visual Merchandiser for Next Athleisure Pty Limited and advancing to Assistant Store Manager at Accent Group Limited. Further experience includes roles at NOVA Entertainment, where Emma contributed as Integration Coordinator and part of the Street Team, and as an intern in events and marketing with Commercial Radio Australia. Emma holds a Bachelor of Communications in Commercial Radio from Charles Sturt University.
