Giacomo Bersano is an experienced professional in innovation and management, currently serving as Innovation Director at IKOS GROUP since July 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing IKOS Lab, internal research, knowledge management, and IKOS Academy. Since March 2007, Giacomo has also been the Managing Director at ACTIVE INNOVATION MANAGEMENT. Previously, positions held include Project Technical Manager at Alstom Transport from 1999 to 2007 and Managing Consultant at Altran from February 1995 to December 2006. Early career experience includes serving as a Design Engineer at Rockwell Automotive from March 1993 to March 1995, focusing on automotive component innovation, and working as a Process Engineer at Bersano & Data forging company from September 1989 to December 1992, where duties included organizing and automating manufacturing processes. Giacomo holds a Master’s degree in electricity and automation from Politecnico di Torino, obtained between 1983 and 1989.
