Kubana Alexis is an innovative leader serving as the Associate Director of Workforce Initiatives at the International Institute of New England. They founded ‘Tomorrow Vijana,’ a Refugee Led Organization, in 2014, focusing on empowering refugees through educational programs and outreach. Previously, Kubana managed adult-learning centres in Uganda with Xavier Project and has extensive experience in volunteer management and capacity building. With an Associate's degree in Information Technology from Kampala University, Kubana brings a diverse skill set to community empowerment efforts, particularly for refugees and immigrants.
