Ian Akwe is currently the Head of Field Services at IHS Towers, a role they have held since 2024. Previously, they served as a Regional Technical Officer at IHS Towers from 2017 to 2024, and held various positions at Helios Towers Nigeria, including Power and Fuel Supervisor and Deputy Manager. Ian began their career as a BTS Engineer at Intercellular Nigeria PLC from 2003 to 2007, later transitioning to a Site Engineer role at Helios Towers Nigeria from 2007 to 2011 and serving as Regional Operations Manager at HTN Towers Nigeria from 2015 to 2017. They hold a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Students Careers and a PGD in Electrical Engineering from Bayero University, Kano.
