Katie Bolcar Rever is the Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs at IGS Energy, where they represent the organization with state legislatures and utility commissions while navigating the evolving solar policy landscape. Previously, Katie held significant roles, including Director of State Affairs at the Solar Energy Industries Association, where they led regulatory and legislative initiatives across multiple states, and worked at the U.S. Department of Energy as a Presidential Management Fellow focused on solar and energy efficiency. Their early experience includes environmental stewardship leadership and teaching, alongside internships with the United Nations Environmental Program and CERA. Katie holds dual Master’s degrees in Public Policy and Environmental Management from Duke University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia.
