Andrea Yávar is the Director for Peru Programs at the Institute for Study Abroad, where they lead and manage study abroad initiatives, oversee academic operations, and advance DEI initiatives. They also teach a blended learning seminar for international internship students, guiding reflective practice on cross-cultural workplace dynamics. Previously, Andrea served as a full-time professor at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, advising over 1,000 business students and participating in various academic initiatives. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Boston University and a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto, among other qualifications.
