Ray O'Connor has extensive experience in economic development and management, particularly in attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to Ireland through roles at IDA Ireland since May 2006, including Department Manager for Regions and Enterprise Development and Regional Manager for both the Southern and South-West regions. O'Connor has also contributed to the Cork Institute of Technology as a member of the Governing Body and held managerial positions in various organizations, such as International Service Transition Manager at Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) and Product/Project Manager at eircom. An accomplished graduate, O'Connor holds a Master’s degree in International Marketing from University College Dublin, a Diploma in Business Studies from the University of Galway, and a B.Sc in Plant Science with Microbiology from University College Cork.
