Shawky Amine Eddine, MD, is a humanitarian and medical doctor with a special interest in prehospital healthcare. They have served as the Assistant EMS Director for Training and Quality at the Lebanese Red Cross, where they oversaw continuous improvement in pre-hospital care and developed national training curricula. Their experience includes consulting on disaster risk reduction and capacity building across various organizations in the MENA region, and they have been involved in significant crisis responses, including the Beirut Explosion and the COVID-19 pandemic.
