Fernando Salgado Leal possesses extensive experience in the field of information technology and cyber security. Starting as a Junior Information Technology System Analyst at Recíproca Assistência Insurance Company, Fernando progressed to Senior Information Technology Analyst and Project Manager at Kraft Foods Group, and later served as an Information Technology System Analyst at CCPL. At Petrobras, from April 2001 to December 2005, Fernando held the roles of Project Manager and Cyber Security Manager, demonstrating a strong foundation in project oversight and security protocols. After gaining significant expertise as a Senior Manager in Cyber Risk at Deloitte and as a Cloud Security and Compliance Analyst at IBM, Fernando currently works as a Cloud Security and Compliance Engineer and Security Architect at IBM since November 2021. In addition to practical experience, Fernando is dedicated to academia as a Cyber Security Professor at Instituto Infnet since December 2018. Fernando holds a Bachelor's degree in Electric Engineering from Universidade Veiga de Almeida, an MBA in e-Business from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a Diploma in Systems Analysis from Universidade Veiga de Almeida.
