Dhvani Shah has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Energy Policy & Strategy at Hydro One since June 2010, with a progression of roles that includes Senior Reliability Standards Compliance Engineer and Transmission Planner. Prior to joining Hydro One, Dhvani worked at McMaster University as a Lab and Tutorial Teaching Assistant and gained industry experience as a Settlements Support Analyst at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) and an Energy Markets Programming Analyst at Ontario Power Generation. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Build/Audit Technical Systems Analyst at RBC. Dhvani holds a Master of Engineering in Electric Power Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from McMaster University.
