The Hurricanes represents the Hurricanes Investec Super Rugby team.  Founded in 1996, the Hurricanes are based in Wellington and play the majority of their home matches at Sky Stadium.

The Hurricanes represent eight provincial unions - East Coast, Horowhenua Kapiti, Manawatu, Poverty Bay, Wairararapa Bush,  Wanganui and Wellington. The team’s storied history includes one Investec Super Rugby title (2016) and two Investec Super Rugby minor premierships (2015, 2016).

As an organization, the Hurricanes are striving to be the best sports and entertainment organization in the country. Our club is now looking to the future to continue to work to provide the best fan experience possible.

The Performance Team at the Hurricanes focuses on optimizing player health, fitness, and overall performance. Comprising experts in strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, mindset coaching, and sports analytics, this team ensures that athletes are physically and mentally prepared for each game. By providing tailored strength training, rehabilitation, medical care, and performance analysis, the team helps maintain peak conditions and minimize injuries, ultimately contributing to the Hurricanes' success on and off the field.
