Ivy Ortiz is a GIS Analyst at Humane World for Animals, where they collect, manage, analyze, and report data for the Pets for Life program. With over nine years of experience in quantitative research and program management, Ivy has specialized in food justice, ecology, and data science. Ivy's previous roles include serving as a Conservation Researcher at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager at Matthaei Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum. Currently pursuing their education at the Yale School of the Environment, Ivy is also a co-program manager of the Environmental Fellows Program.
