Carmen Smith is the EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Hub Group, where they lead strategic HR initiatives to enhance workforce engagement and organizational alignment. With a wealth of experience that includes serving as Chief People Officer at Coyote Logistics and VP of Human Resources at CA Ventures, Carmen has developed a robust understanding of talent management and leadership development across diverse organizational contexts. They previously held several HR roles at C.H. Robinson, contributing to various facets of human resources from recruiting to organizational development. Carmen is also an adjunct professor at DePaul University, sharing knowledge gained from years of experience in HR leadership. They earned a BA in Marketing from Michigan State University and an MBA from Davenport University.
