Michael McInnes is currently the Managing Director and Global Head of Sustainability Risk in Wholesale Banking, where they lead efforts in developing a risk management framework for sustainability risks across investment and commercial banks. With a rich background in customer and conduct-focused roles, Michael co-authored the conduct risk assessment methodology for Barclays and oversaw financial crime controls at HSBC. They hold a diverse array of educational qualifications, including a Sustainability Leadership and Corporate Responsibility degree from London Business School and a project management qualification from APM. Michael's experience is marked by a commitment to driving organizational change and improving customer engagement within large financial institutions.
