James Yates is the Managing Director and Global Head of Product Risk for Global Trade Solutions at HSBC, a position held since 2023. They previously served as Managing Director and Chief Control Officer in various roles at HSBC from 2017 to 2020 and held positions at Misys, Ernst & Young, and Deloitte UK earlier in their career. Yates holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from Lancaster University and a CMIIA from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
